Club Boat Hire
The club owns six Optimists suitable for children 8 to 14 years old, and four singlehander Toppers and two doublehanded Fevas, suitable for teenagers or adults. Club boats are used for training and racing and are available for hire (when available) on sailing days. Please see the Duty Officer or the training administrator for permission & payment. Boats can only be hired to member of the club.

Instructions For Hiring Club Boats
1. Pay hire fee in club (orange box in/near galley), sign boat out and note details of usage in logbook
2. Rig boat and check for any prior damage before use.
3. After use, freshwater wash, pack boat and gear away, record any gear failure or damage in logbook
4. To ensure boats are kept in working order, all sailors are responsible for ensuring that any damage caused during use is repaired as soon as possible.
5. Use of gear (rigs, foils etc.) is also subject to hire fees, please talk to rep from training committee for advice.
6. Fees are waived for sailors while participating in a club sail training course.
