Auntie Lou has been receiving details of personal problems even while in France - here is her most recent postbag:
| Dear Auntie Lou, Since retiring I have found that I am becoming very forgetful. Just the usual things like keys, shrouds, wife in car! What would you suggest? Dear Doc, If you mislay your keys, wife etc. again your can always use your free bus pass- If you can find it ! |
Dear Auntie Lou, I am becoming concerned over the increasing numbers of the Solo fleet, having just bought a brand new one myself. I hear Sion may join the fleet. Do you know where I can purchase some waterproof ear defenders? Dear Steve Maybe you have spotted a business opportunity selling waterproof ear plugs to the P.D. sailors! Keep me posted for my percentage. |
| Dear Auntie Lou, We have decided to move to England as I am concerned about my offspring being hijacked by the WYA. Have I done the right thing? Dear Alex and Michelle, You have saved yourselves the cost of an Optimist, a motorhome, a RIB, and you will have free weekends and still be able to sail yourself. But you might miss that Gold at 2032! |
Disclaimer: Apologies to the thousands who wrote in but didn't get a reply. Auntie Lou is in France and some requests might have gone amiss in translation. Bonne chance avec la voile. love Lou |
